Beginers Area

The map is divided into 5 main areas. The first area has 2 cities, Springdale and Endril. Everybody starts the game in Springdale (highlighted by orange colored swirl under city name)

Springdale

This is your protection zone and you cannot be attacked in this city. You are however limited to level 9 upgrades. Use this area to find your way around and get a feel for the game.
You will not lose any troops here when attacking battle grounds etc.

Endril

The second city in this area is Endrill, you need to defeat the first Falcon Battle Ground to be able to move here. Be aware, once you have moved out of Springdale, you will be out of beginners protection, hence other players will be able to attack you. Endril allows you to upgrade to level 20. The maximum troop loss in Endril is 10% so you will never lose more than that while attacking. Basically this is a training ground for fighting as all your fights should be fairly evenly matched.
You should also note that while in either of these first 2 cities, you will only use battle orders if you win, losses do not consume orders.

Moving out of Endril (Choosing a Nation)

Once you are ready to move out of Endril you are presented with a choice of relocating to Quill in The Sheath, Kamyle in The Egren and Undrerr in The Dominion. This is essentially the choice in which you decide which nation you want to pledge allegiance to. Choosing a nation will affect your game play and who you play the game with from that point on, hence the decision should not be taken lightly. Relocating to a city in that nation will automatically make you chose that nation to pledge your allegiance.

Nations

The next 3 areas are the main areas of the map and are known as Nations, The Dominion, The Egren and The Sheath. Each Nation has 11 cities. You will need to defeat The Shadow of the Scarecrow Battleground to move to one of the Nations. This move to next level Town (noted by swirls under the Town name in each Nation) will allow upgrades to level 30 and the maximum troop loss is 20%. Beating certain Battle grounds allow you to move up into different town area levels with the top level having 5 towns in each Nation (as seen in this view, this view also shows some towns under enemy control note the flag color for town)

Nation Farms

When you capture a Nation Farm (ie.. in Farm Battle see image below), your alliance will gain extra food for Alliance Members. Farms are availible for harvest at 0500 hrs after winning battle. # of harvests per day depends on your Alliance member rank, max # of harvests is 6/day(increase Member rank by participation in Farm Battles & donating to Alliance Tech Funds). The output is 6mins, but each harvest is 1 hour worth so you get 10x the output ..ie.. black farm output 50 x 10 = 500 each 1Hr. harvest(same formula applies for Local Farms as well). Leveling up the Alliance Tech "Irrigation" by donating to this fund will increase the chance of a Great Harvest which gives 2x normal harvest.

In the above view you can see the "Battle Tabs" on the right side of map view marked Farm Battle The Thousand Farm & Area Battle.. also note the yellow arrow by the main gate, this is the Mine War Tab. Click on these Tabs at the appropriate time to enter this type battle area. (the Mine War scene is shown below)
